About the role
This role involves providing applications support for Qorvo's cellular product portfolio to customers and internal sales personnel. The position focuses on analyzing RF subsystems, tuning, and optimizing products on reference designs and smartphones with RF front-end.
What you'll do
- Provide technical applications support to customers evaluating cellular products.
- Assist sales and marketing teams with technical proposals and presentations.
- Perform hands-on lab work to resolve issues and optimize products on reference designs.
- Analyze RF subsystems using tools such as Agilent ADS and MS Excel.
- Coordinate customer activities with the sales team.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on RF and Microwave, Mobile communication, Wireless network.
- 2 years of experience in handset or smartphone design of RF sections.
- Experience with communications standards, including 2 of the following: LTE, UMTS, GSM, EDGE, WCDMA.
- Experience with test equipment such as Communication Call Boxes, Spectrum Analyzers, and network analyzers.
