About the role
This role involves the design and development of analog circuits for semiconductor products. It focuses on leading complex analog design projects from concept to silicon.
What you'll do
- Lead architectural definition, design, simulation, and verification of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits, including ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, voltage regulators, and PLLs.
- Perform detailed transistor-level design, layout supervision, and post-layout verification.
- Collaborate with system architects, digital design engineers, layout engineers, and test engineers for seamless integration.
- Conduct thorough design reviews and participate in root cause analysis for silicon issues.
- Mentor junior analog designers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and characterization reports.
What you'll need
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in analog IC design with successful tape-outs in advanced CMOS processes.
- Expertise in the design of analog building blocks, such as op-amps, bandgap references, LDOs, oscillators, and data converters.
- Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Hspice, AMS simulation).
- Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and process variations.
- Experience with layout considerations and supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- French language skills

How we counted: 281 open Analog IC Design (Analog Design) roles from 51 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 29 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
