What you'll do
- Develop and implement physical security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Coordinate with management to manage security measures and ensure employee and asset safety.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify potential physical security breaches or threats.
- Train and supervise security staff, providing necessary instructions and support.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of security equipment like CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 2+ years of related experience in physical security management or a related field (or Associate's degree and 4+ years; or High School diploma and 6+ years).
- Strong understanding of security systems and protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- US Citizen and ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
