About the role
This role focuses on planning and executing the front-end implementation of IPs, including SDC development and closure, potentially expanding to synthesis, LEC, CLP, prelayout STA, and postlayout STA/Timing closure.
What you'll do
- Own constraints and SDC development for IPs, SS, and SoCs.
- Generate, verify, promote, demote, and ensure equivalence of SDC.
- Conduct synthesis, LEC, CLP, prelayout STA, and postlayout STA/Timing closure for IP implementation.
- Collaborate with design and PNR teams for closure.
- Plan and execute tasks according to schedule, ensuring quality delivery for synthesis and timing closure.
- Debug and resolve technical issues.
What you'll need
- 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Existing SDC and constraints development experience.
- Experience in synthesis, LEC, CLP, and timing closure.
- Experience with blocks having complex designs, high frequency clocks, and complex clocking.
- Complete understanding of timing constraints, low power aspects, and DFT concepts.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with Lint, CDC, and RTL & Netlist based static checks.
- Top-level or SoC-level experience.
- Interest in AI, Scripting, and automation.
