RTP Equipment Engineer (SM1)
Support rapid thermal processing operations with hands-on AMAT Centura Radiance, ISSG, DPN, Radiance+, and Vantage equipment expertise.
About the role
As an Equipment Engineer at Texas Instruments, you will evaluate, install, maintain, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment to support production operations.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, select, and order manufacturing equipment that is cost-effective and appropriate for product fabrication.
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Track equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
- Study equipment performance and reliability to establish programs for increasing uptime and addressing issues affecting the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair teams and the process engineering organization.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer.
Nice to have
- Equipment experience with AMAT Centura Radiance, ISSG, DPN, Radiance+, and Vantage equipment.
- Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance, and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, SPC techniques, and semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
