About the role
This role involves overseeing the large-scale project planning, installation, and launch of industrial automation technologies across Amazon's growing Stores network. You will be deploying industrial robotics across North America's fulfillment network.
What you'll do
- Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging, and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Develop detailed knowledge of robotic systems operation and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, product managers, and internal customers.
- Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
- Generate and implement continuous improvement ideas around work-scopes.
What you'll need
- Experience with complex electro-mechanical and network systems.
- Experience with large scale installations.
- Experience with system troubleshooting.
- Strong technical skills for deploying robotic equipment.
- Ability to travel to project sites across North America, upwards of 75% or more.
