Support RF and DC testing from DC to mmWave frequencies within a class 100 semiconductor fabrication cleanroom.
About the role
This role provides support to Manufacturing and Test Engineering on an RF/DC Test floor in an ISO compliant, class 100 semiconductor fabrication cleanroom. Testing covers DC and RF measurements from DC to mmWave frequencies.
What you'll do
- Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF test environment.
- Setup and calibrate [S] parameters and power test stations following standards.
- Perform test setup troubleshooting, assemble fixtures, and build wire harnesses.
- Review statistical test control charts for process quality and react to out of control conditions.
- Use standard software applications including MES, FPS, Spotfire, Camline, FDC, and MS Office.
- Work closely with manufacturing, process, and equipment engineering to resolve problems and meet production schedules.
What you'll need
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent amount of experience.
- 2+ years of experience in RF component testing.
- Proficiency with test equipment including PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters.
- Technical knowledge in RF testing covering S-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high power RF, and TOI.
- Proficiency in MES, FPS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software.
- Ability to wear cleanroom attire and protective equipment, and stand for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
