About the role
This Winter/Spring Co-op opportunity involves learning and participating in the development of advanced RF front-end modules. You will collaborate with engineering professionals and subject matter experts.
What you'll do
- Work with experienced engineers to design/develop multi-chip modules
- Design semi-lumped RF matching networks, integrated passive devices, couplers, etc.
- Run simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS
- Participate and present in design reviews
- Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD program
- Commitment for working on site for 6 months
- Strong career interest in RF/microwave engineering and electromagnetics
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS
- Hands-on experience in lab using network analyzer and other RF instruments
- Knowledge of PA design
