Participate in developing RF front-end modules.
About the role
This co-op role involves designing and developing RF/Microwave multi-chip modules and RF front-end modules.
What you'll do
- Work with experienced engineers to design/develop RF/Microwave multi-chip modules.
- Evaluate and optimize prototypes of RF/Microwave multi-chip modules.
- Run simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc.
- Participate and present in design reviews.
- Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD program.
- Commitment to work onsite for 6 months.
- Strong career interest in RF/microwave circuits and engineering.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS.
- Hands-on experience in a lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments.
- Knowledge of transmission-line theory and circuit design.
- Experience with PCB design and layout tools.
