About the role
This role provides support to Manufacturing and Test Engineering in an expanding RF/DC Test floor. It operates within an ISO compliant, class 100 semiconductor fabrication cleanroom.
What you'll do
- Conduct DC and RF testing from DC to mmWave frequencies in an RF test environment.
- Setup and calibrate S parameters and power test stations following Qorvo standards.
- Perform limited test setup troubleshooting, assemble fixtures, and wire harnesses.
- Work closely with manufacturing, process, and equipment engineering to resolve problems and meet production schedules.
- Review statistical test control charts for process quality and react to out of control conditions.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize safety, tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
What you'll need
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in RF component testing.
- Proficiency with test equipment including PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters.
- Knowledge in RF testing including S-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high power RF, and TOI.
- Proficiency in MES, FPS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software.
