About the role
This role involves designing and implementing circuits for RF, analog, power management, mixed-signal, and digital SoC systems.
What you'll do
- Produce and implement designs to meet customer specifications for RF, analog, power management, mixed-signal, and digital SoC systems & circuits.
- Meet performance requirements while considering size, cost, footprint, power dissipation, and schedule.
- Partner with technicians to perform circuit simulations and testing as needed.
- Design and test RF circuits (PA, LNA, SW, MIXER, VCO/PLL), analog/MS circuits (Gm-C/SC-filters, ADC/DAC), and digital circuits (modem, interfacing-uC/MEM/NVM, FSM).
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- RF/microwave, analog, and digital integrated-circuit design coursework and/or experience.
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to software including ADS, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Synopsis, Mentor Calibre, Cadence Virtuoso/EMX/Xcelium, Dynamic Link, 3D CAD, Mechanical FEA.
- Exposure to scripting including SKILL, python, TCL, bash.
