About the role
Applied Materials South East Asia’s Regional Office is seeking an intern to support projects, research, presentations, stakeholder activities, and process improvements across the region. The position provides exposure to corporate strategy, regional planning, and business operations.
What you'll do
- Gather insights, conduct research, and develop recommendations to support Regional Office initiatives and decision-making.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement through meeting preparation, background research, communications, and follow-up actions.
- Support regional projects by tracking activities, timelines, materials, and outstanding actions.
- Prepare presentations, briefing materials, reports, and written updates for diverse audiences.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, coordination, and reporting through process improvements or digital solutions.
What you'll need
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Capability to frame ambiguous topics into clear slides and written updates.
- Ability to conduct research on unfamiliar topics and synthesize insights.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a self-directed approach to project tracking.
