About the role
As an R&D RF/Microwave Engineering Intern, you will join Keysight Laboratories in Santa Rosa, CA. The team researches, creates, validates, and implements technology involving low phase noise references, analog and digital phase-lock-loop structures, and microwave/mm-wave solutions.
What you'll do
- Research, create, validate, and implement technology involving low phase noise references. - Work on analog and digital phase-lock-loop structures. - Support development of microwave and mm-wave solutions within Keysight Laboratories.
What you'll need
- Currently working towards a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (enrolled as of September 2027, or starting an MS/PhD program after graduating). - Analog, RF and/or microwave circuit knowledge.
Nice to have
- Experience with ADS or equivalent simulation tools. - Understanding of analog control loops. - Knowledge of PLL structures. - Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, especially RF equipment.
