Join the Diode Business Line to design microwave and millimeter-wave Hybrids and MMICs using Si and GaAs technologies.

About the role

MACOM is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to design, layout, test, and release control circuits for microwave and millimeter-wave applications based on Si and GaAs technologies. The position sits within the Diode Business Line focusing on Hybrids and MMICs.

What you'll do

- Design products including switches, limiters, digital and analog phase shifters, attenuators (serial and parallel), detectors, frequency multipliers, mixers, modulators/demodulators, CMOS drivers, sequencers, and multi-function Hybrids and MMICs. - Execute design and product development activities from kickoff through engineering evaluation, including writing test and assembly plans and procedures. - Collaborate with package and assembly teams to develop new packaging and assembly methods. - Initiate prototype builds, design evaluation boards and characterization fixtures, and perform or direct measurements to process and present evaluation data. - Partner with the Product Engineering group to transfer products into production following a formal stage-gate new product introduction process.

What you'll need
