About the role
The Quality Inspector II performs inspections of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment to confirm the accuracy and quality of manufactured hardware.
What you'll do
- Perform inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment according to defined inspection methods.
- Utilize drawings, specifications, and sketches, adapting inspection measuring devices and procedures when necessary.
- Use basic precision measuring inspection tooling, gauges, and equipment.
- Populate standard reports, test results, and documentation of quality problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and conduct intermediate problem solving to identify root causes.
- Assist in determining audit methods, sequences, and procedures, and perform basic audits and inspections.
What you'll need
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and specification requirements.
- Experience operating precision measuring inspection tooling, gauges, and equipment.
- Analytical skills and application of scientific methods to evaluate parts and perform inspection activities.
- Problem-solving capability to recognize and address typical issues using established operating procedures and scientific methods.
