This role involves leading quality and reliability initiatives across product development and manufacturing operations, establishing quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality assurance and reliability engineering programs across product lines.
- Conduct root cause analysis and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to identify and resolve quality issues systematically.
- Analyze quality metrics, statistical data, and performance trends to drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, specifications, and acceptance criteria aligned with industry best practices.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, reliability engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, failure analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and quality metrics.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of reliability engineering principles and testing standards.
- Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools.
Nice to have
- Degree/Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- Knowledge of reliability testing standards and industry-specific quality requirements.
- Experience with test automation tools and quality management platforms.
- Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) and advanced statistical methods.
- Experience with supplier quality management and vendor collaboration.
- Certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, or similar).
