About the role
This role is responsible for conducting in-process and final quality inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and customer requirements. It involves performing inspections and quality audits throughout the manufacturing process, identifying and reporting non-conformances, and maintaining inspection records.
What you'll do
- Perform in-process and final QC inspections of manufactured products.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections based on approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
- Verify product dimensions, workmanship, appearance, and labeling.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming products or processes.
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and other quality documentation for traceability and audit purposes.
- Support internal, customer, and external quality audits.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in QC inspection, quality control, or manufacturing.
- Experience performing in-process and final inspection of manufactured products.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
- Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Good understanding of quality control practices and non-conformance identification.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
