About the role
This role involves managing pilot materials and supporting engineering changes within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Serve as the single point of contact for Engineering for Pilot Materials management.
- Support PG shipments of unreleased material to customer sites, ensuring parts meet release criteria.
- Participate in program CFT reviews to present status and mitigation for high-risk parts.
- Support material availability for engineering changes and provide knowledge of rework potential to Pilot MFG stakeholders.
- Manage reservation demands in Engineering Stockroom locations and facilitate material transfers.
- Create and execute CIP plans to support organizational goals.
- Create and maintain product-group-specific materials management metrics.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to read, compare, and interpret Product BOMs.
- Strong customer service and support while enforcing business process controls.
- Strong communication skill set with the ability to concisely share verbal and written updates.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex data with outstanding attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, or Manufacturing.
- Ability to read, interpret, and compare mechanical, electrical, and assembly drawings.
- Master's degree.
- Semiconductor industry and global supplier experience.
