About the role
This role is for a Product Quality Engineer supporting new product development activities within the Advanced Cellular Group business unit.
What you'll do
- Provide strategic direction and leadership regarding qualifications.
- Use Potential Problem Analysis techniques to identify and resolve product and technology reliability risks.
- Define qualification plans and schedules, and drive execution for timely product releases.
- Lead or participate in problem resolution teams for complex technical issues.
- Ensure excellent customer experience with Qorvo products at assembly and in the field.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of related work experience in the semiconductor field.
- Understanding of semiconductors and RF devices.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabs and fabrication processes.
- Data analysis experience using JMP or Spotfire.
- Experience with 8D, A3, 5-why problem solving methodologies.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor design.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Data mining experience with Databricks or SQL.
- Project management experience with Wrike or MS Planner.
