About the role
AMD is hiring a Product Manager to build and drive deep engagements with strategic customers to define and document requirements for AMD CPUs.
What you'll do
- Build and drive engagements with strategic customers to define and document product requirements.
- Collaborate with internal architecture and engineering teams to enable requirements that support AMD CPUs.
- Author product value propositions, positioning, collateral, and proof points to support the product narrative.
- Present and evangelize product strategy internally and externally.
- Manage operational details with stakeholders to align EOL, metrics, and inventory positions with product strategy and portfolio interplay.
- Apply knowledge of engineering principles, circuit boards, processors, and chips across proprietary product design, development, and testing.
What you'll need
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field with 4 years of experience in product management, engineering, or product analytics (or a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience).
- 3 years of experience in product management in CPU or PC-related products.
- 3 years of experience with semiconductor technologies and the value chain.
- 3 years of experience in hardware and software ecosystems and technical product lifecycle management.
- 3 years of experience using market research and competitive analysis tools.
- 3 years of experience driving program alignment across cross-functional teams.
