About the role
This Product Management Intern role supports Qorvo's product management team with program deliverables and manufacturing processes. The intern will focus on projects specifically associated with updates to PM work practices to implement AI functions.
What you'll do
- Assist product management team to support improvement to program deliverables.
- Assist product management team to support improvement to manufacturing processes to maximize assembly yield.
- Transcribe existing standardized work into Qorvo format and upload to DocCenter.
- Assist in generating undocumented standardized work into Qorvo format and upload to DocCenter.
- Support continuous improvement projects.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Proficiency with project-management tools and reporting platforms, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Databricks or similar tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with statistical analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Lean concepts.
- Knowledge of documentation such as ECOs and PCNs.
- Knowledge of project and product management.
- Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products.
