About the role
As a Product Engineer at Elevate Semiconductor, you will own the test hardware, equipment, and programs supporting analog and mixed-signal IC production. You will manage bench validation, characterization, and test efficiency for 10-bit, 16-bit, and 20-bit Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs).
What you'll do
- Own the product data sheet, bench test plan, bench validation, and characterization scripts for 10-bit, 16-bit, and 20-bit Digital-to-Analog Converters. - Use MATLAB for Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) analysis, along with LTspice and TINA for electrical circuit simulation. - Debug printed circuit boards to identify and resolve component failures using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and soldering tools. - Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams on EVM hardware and firmware improvements, correlation, GR&R, and test time reduction. - Perform ultra-low current measurements, including leakage currents in the nanoampere (nA) range. - Analyze ATE or bench results in STDF or .csv format, utilizing Gaussian distribution plots, ANOVA, or regression analysis.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role. - Familiarity with Python, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, pattern generators, and logic analyzers. - Practical experience with Fourier Analysis and Sampling theorem with regards to digital-to-analog converters. - Hands-on debugging proficiency using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and soldering tools. - Willingness to support silicon validation during new silicon bring-up, including late evenings and weekends as needed.
