About the role

This role involves product engineering for mmWave Radar products, focusing on new product development, production release, characterization, and failure analysis.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with Design, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability teams for new product development and production release.
  • Design bench evaluation PCBs and generate characterization programs for bench evaluations.
  • Perform evaluation, debug, and characterization of integrated circuits to meet product requirement specifications.
  • Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of reliability and qualification failures.
  • Develop and qualify process and package technologies for new product development.
  • Address customer-specific product quality, yield management, and cost reduction issues on mature products, including product spins and derivatives.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or related.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits, their operation and analysis.

Nice to have

  • Production test program and hardware development experience.
  • ATE experience on V93K or equivalent (J750, VLCT, LTX, iFlex).
  • Knowledge across core disciplines of PE role (DfT, ATE HW, ATE SW, Characterization, Quality & Reliability, Failure Analysis, & RTM).
  • Knowledge of digital and analog test methods, high speed interfaces and RF analog.
  • Extensive knowledge of statistics and tools to analyze large amounts of production test data (mBayse, SpotFire, TestWare, ParmDB).
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting in Java, C++, Python, PERL.
  • Revision control tools experience Subversion, Bitbucket, Git.
  • Experience with integrated circuit and device failure analysis.
  • Programming skills for automation of automated test equipment.
