About the role
This internship involves assisting the Product Engineering team with data analysis, reporting, and yield analysis for semiconductor products.
What you'll do
- Assist the Product Engineering team with data analysis and reporting of product performance on various semiconductor technologies.
- Perform semiconductor wafer and packaged level yield analysis evaluations.
- Provide yield plans to meet company yield targets and lead improvement efforts.
- Conduct data analysis/mining/extraction utilizing statistical methods and related software tools.
- Develop test plans for prototype and production electrical testing.
- Interface with Design, Fab, Test, Applications, Product Management, and Quality Engineering teams to support in the development of high yielding products and resolve manufacturing issues.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing BS (Junior or Senior), MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail oriented.
- Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Semiconductor theory coursework.
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
- Exposure to DC and RF measurement equipment, including O-Scope, Signal generator, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Software exposure to Python, ADS, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link, Spotfire, JMP.
