About the role
As a Product Applications Engineer, you will create tools that assist customers in integrating ADI products into their designs and provide solutions to customer issues.
What you'll do
- Assist customers in integrating ADI products into their designs by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Create and enhance application tools, reference boards, and software that demonstrate product capabilities.
- Conduct thorough road testing to validate product specifications and operational boundaries.
- Develop clear, comprehensive technical documentation and application notes.
- Evaluate competitor products and analysis evaluation kits to provide strategic insights.
- Ensure products meet specific market qualification requirements through testing and validation processes.
What you'll need
- Ability to develop comprehensive understanding of system-level architecture.
- Proficiency in creating application tools, reference boards, and software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and complex technical issues.
- Experience conducting thorough testing to validate specifications and operational boundaries.
- Ability to clearly convey complex technical information through documentation and presentations.
- Thorough understanding of semiconductor products and their applications.
- Capability to evaluate competing products and technologies.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience with analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products.
- Familiarity with customer design cycles and integration challenges in relevant application spaces.
