About the role
This role provides process and product support across engineering and manufacturing groups in a Texas Instruments wafer fabrication cleanroom. Responsibilities include addressing production concerns, executing technical tests, and handling disposition of production material.
What you'll do
- Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area. - Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators once the product is on the line. - Test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. - Interface with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve issues and disposition production material.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age. - 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician, OR 8 years of non-semiconductor or military Technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shifts including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Epi-related past experience. - Troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems. - Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
