About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineering Manager in DMOS5 to oversee technical support and sustaining engineering functions within a product manufacturing area. The position drives strategic development for a 200mm fab process module focused on quality, cost, cycle time, capacity, and new technology transfers.
What you'll do
- Oversee activities related to technical support and sustaining engineering functions in a product manufacturing area. - Plan and direct the implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and yields for existing products. - Act as an engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure process and design compatibility. - Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to maintain the efficient operation of the engineering function. - Lead the strategic development of an assigned process module focusing on quality, cost, cycle time, capacity improvements, and new technology developments and transfers.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related degree. - 5+ years of engineering experience in semiconductor fab manufacturing. - 2+ years of experience supervising direct reports in semiconductor fab manufacturing.
