About the role
As a Process Support Engineer (PSE), you will guide products through their lifecycle from concept to qualification, providing on-site customer support, system diagnoses, and service and repair of complex systems. The role covers technologies including Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, and Implant.
What you'll do
- Serve as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring delivery of applicable solutions.
- Work with customers to optimize tool performance to meet process and integration requirements.
- Check and approve operational quality of system equipment, and instruct customers in system operation and maintenance.
- Provide on-site customer support for installations, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment.
- Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOEs), analyze data with statistics, and compile technical reports.
- Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve process engineering and product issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field.
- Minimum 7 years in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry.
- Knowledge of 3 or more processes on 1 or more technologies (such as Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, or Implant).
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

- 5+ years of experience in Applications or Process Engineering.
