About the role
This role is responsible for yield performance monitoring and coordinating corrective actions to address yield excursions and product quality problems.
What you'll do
- Monitor yield performance and initiate corrective actions in wafer fab or with material suppliers.
- Initiate and coordinate cross-functional teams to lead yield improvement activities.
- Support Test engineers with dispositioning of lots held for yield problems.
- Carry out analysis to identify opportunities for yield improvement on individual product types.
- Ensure integrity of wafer test specifications, parametric and electrical yield stop levels, and minimum yield levels.
- Support the introduction of new products and process technologies in Diefab and improve yield from development into full production.
What you'll need
- HND or Degree Level in an appropriate discipline.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Plan and organize qualification trials and investigations.
- Changing and updating documentation.
- Data analysis and interpretation.
- Problem Solving.
