About the role
Process Engineer responsible for sustaining existing GaAs IC, RF Power Transistors, and Diodes, as well as developing new processes in both Wet and Dry Etch in the MACOM wafer fab located in Lowell, MA.
What you'll do
- Sustain the Etch area to meet factory indicators across operations. - Plan and conduct experiments to fully characterize etch processes throughout the development cycle. - Drive improvements in quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety/ergonomics over variables including material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel. - Develop solutions to technical problems utilizing statistical knowledge and problem-solving tools.
What you'll need
- Experience sustaining and developing processes in both Wet and Dry Etch. - Experience with GaAs IC, RF Power Transistors, or Diodes within a wafer fab environment. - Background utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and structured problem-solving tools to resolve process issues.
