Principle Semiconductor Engineering Technician
About the role
This role supports daily semiconductor production operations through hands-on problem-solving, equipment monitoring, process support, and cross-functional coordination.
What you'll do
- Setup shift tasks for personnel and provide daily area status updates during shift change.
- Address particle and thickness failures on production and qualification wafers.
- Assist operators with issues impacting production flow, including test wafers and qualification runs.
- Support equipment maintenance in identifying and resolving process-related issues, running production tools as needed to maintain output targets.
- Analyze inline process data such as thickness and particle counts to define action plans for equipment recovery.
- Partner with process engineers on improvement initiatives and recommend potential specification changes to module owners.
What you'll need
- AA degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of directly related semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in SPC and experience analyzing inline process data.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, follow, and adhere to company specifications and standard practices.
- U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
