About the role
As part of the New Product Development team, you will support product lines and business P&Ls for new product development and execution. Activities include defining Analog and Digital DfT strategies, developing low-cost test solutions for complex Analog, Mixed Signal, and Digital roadmap products on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms, and productizing ICs.
What you'll do
- Own pre-silicon activities including ATE Test Plan generation, HW design, and test program development. - Drive post-silicon bring-up, validation, characterization, and qualification activities to meet time-to-market goals. - Define Analog and Digital DfT strategies (including Analog / Digital BiST solutions) to optimize Cost-of-Test. - Deliver entitlement goals for product execution, overall product cost (yields, test-times, multi-sites), and product quality. - Maintain and update test program generation utilities, standard test method libraries, and low-level ATE code for Analog / Mixed Signal test blocks. - Interface with ATE vendors, BU PE, and Design teams to define test automation requirements, checklists, and low-level automation code.
What you'll need
- BSEE with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in Product / Test engineering across the Analog, Mixed Signal, and Digital domain. - Hands-on experience with ATE platforms and a solid understanding of ATE system architectures (such as ETS800, T2K, IFlex, etc.). - Proficiency in multiple software coding languages for ATE, including C/C++, Python, and Java. - Working knowledge of DfT strategies, test methods, and test instrumentation requirements across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal IC testing. - Knowledge of high-voltage (>1kV) test requirements and care-abouts.
Nice to have
- Experience and knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Serdes, LPDDR, and CSI/DSI.
Skills: DfT strategies, Analog, Mixed Signal, Digital, ATE platforms, test solutions

How we counted: 158 open Product Engineering (Manufacturing Equipment) roles from 48 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 25 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Silicon Validation & Test family row.
