About the role

This role provides professional health care for the comfort and well-being of employees within occupational health standards, with a focus on occupational medical services for employees at the GlobalFoundries Fab 9 facility in Essex, VT.

What you'll do

• Provide case management for all US occupational injuries, acting as liaison between employees, managers, internal partners, healthcare providers, and insurers.
• Perform ergonomic assessments and evaluations.
• Plan, develop, implement, and lead Wellness Programs/Health promotions.
• Provide primary, secondary, and coordinating tertiary care to employees in compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Perform clinical support, including training and medical testing for medical surveillance exams (audiometry, spirometry, phlebotomy, vision, EKG).
• Provide health counseling to employees and coordinate patient education with appropriate referrals.

What you'll need

• BS/BA in Nursing or associate's degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2+ years in case management, workers compensation case management or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in corporate healthcare, community health, occupational health or urgent care/emergency room setting.
• Current Registered Nursing license in the State of Vermont.
• BLS Certification.
• Ability to interpret medical documentation.

• Experience with structured problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with Cority Software.
• Familiarity with Workers Compensation.
