About the role
The Principal Equipment Maintenance Technician - Etch provides expert-level technical support for equipment maintenance and repairs while training and mentoring junior technicians. The role supports etch platforms such as LAM Alliance, LAM 2300 Exelan, TEL Unity M/ME, AMAT Centura DPS Metal/Poly/SuperE, LAM DaVinci wet etch sinks, or Mattson Aspen II on a 12-hour compressed day shift.
What you'll do
- Provide expert-level technical support for equipment maintenance and repairs. - Troubleshoot equipment issues using complex troubleshooting methods alongside junior technicians. - Develop and implement maintenance plans for multiple toolsets across the Etch area. - Train junior technicians and mentor apprentice technicians in complex troubleshooting techniques. - Create and participate in area projects across primary station families.
What you'll need
- Two-year degree in engineering, electronics, or equivalent experience. - 10+ years of related work experience. - Advanced knowledge and experience on two or more main platforms in the Etch area (such as LAM Alliance, LAM 2300 Exelan, TEL Unity M/ME, AMAT Centura DPS Metal/Poly/SuperE, LAM DaVinci wet etch sinks, or Mattson Aspen II). - Demonstrated complex troubleshooting skills and multiple platform mastery. - Ability to train and mentor junior technicians and apprentice technicians.
