About the role
As a Principal Engineer Analog Design, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and bringing to production Power Management ICs and MCMs.
What you'll do
- Lead design for Power Management ICs and MCMs.
- Work with Concept Engineering, Applications, Marketing, and Project Managers to define feature set, chip architecture, resourcing, schedule, and cost.
- Mentor less experienced designers in mixed-signal design and good design practices.
- Specify and perform transistor-level design of low-power / high-performance analog circuits and power management modules using CMOS/BCD technology.
- Support and plan DFT strategy and DFT design implementation.
- Support production test development and ramp to production.
What you'll need
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of IC design experience.
- Strong foundation in analog and mixed signal design.
- Experience as a design team lead and manager.
- Design experience with Power Management ICs and LDMOS/BCD process technologies and PDKs.
- Proficiency with the complete suite of Cadence tools for mixed signal design and hands-on experience with Virtuoso Custom IC Environment.
