About the role
This role involves working within an analog and mixed signal IC design team to develop power management products such as switching regulators, load switches, and LDOs.
What you'll do
- Work with an analog and mixed signal IC design team to develop power management products like switching regulators, load switches, and LDOs.
- Define and implement circuits and architectures for product development.
- Build systematic level behavior models and design the whole chip at transistor level to meet part definition.
- Collaborate with technical leadership on the development of IP and front-end technology roadmap.
- Provide guidance to physical designers and monitor the progress of IC layout.
- Partner with business teams and product marketing teams to assist in developing design specifications.
What you'll need
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
- 5 years of experience in Analog/Mixed Signal design.
- 5 years of experience in Cadence tools, including Schematic Editor, ADE Assembler, Spectre, AMS, and Layout Suite for analog/mixed-signal IC design and simulation.
- 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and fault analysis to complete IC design during product development.
- 5 years of experience in defining product specification with product marketing team to ensure product performance.
- 3 years of experience in system and application design.
