About the role
This role involves leading analog IP block development from definition to delivery, focusing on Power Management products such as DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, and AC-DC converters.
What you'll do
- Lead an analog IP block from definition to IP delivery.
- Evaluate intermediate and final project results during design and silicon evaluation.
- Provide guidance to physical designers and monitor IC layout progress.
- Collaborate with Design Verification, validation, product engineering, and test engineering teams.
- Own technical outcomes of design, verification, implementation, and execution of power management ICs.
- Understand project goals, create schedules and resource plans, and track execution.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related with 7 years of experience, or MS with 5 years of experience.
- Solid track record of delivering multiple complex IPs to manufacturing.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and methodologies.
- Understanding of Power Converters such as Buck, Boost, LDOs, gate drivers, comparators, linear regulators gm-stage, and relevant Analog building blocks.
- Understanding of topologies and architectures for Constant-on-time, Peak, and Valley Current Mode, Voltage Mode, Multi-Phase Controllers, and Smart Power Stages.
- Strong Analog IC design skills, debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing.

How we counted: 88 open Analog IC Design (Power Management) roles from 15 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 10 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row. Figures refresh nightly.
