About the role
This role involves operating tools to process wafers through manufacturing stages, ensuring product specifications are met and monitoring equipment operation.
What you'll do
- Load wafers into production equipment and verify product specifications.
- Set up and operate tools to process wafers.
- Perform tool changeovers and make minor corrections to processes and equipment.
- Use analytic and deductive skills for wafer processing strategies.
- Perform production processes according to documented specifications and schedules.
- Utilize computer systems for process diagnosis and interpretation using Statistical Process Control (SPC).
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a clean room environment.
- Ability to carry pods of wafers weighing 15 pounds throughout the full shift.
- Hard-working, flexible team player with superior attention to detail.
- Computer knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and manage a large volume of activity and demands.
- Punctuality and adherence to scheduled shift times.
Nice to have
- Prior manufacturing experience.
- Stable work history.
