About the role
As a Physical Design Engineer at Eridu AI, you will contribute to the physical implementation of custom networking switch silicon for AI data centers.
What you'll do
- Implement physical design flows from netlist to GDSII across full-chip and block-level designs.
- Drive floorplanning, power grid design, placement, clock tree synthesis, and routing.
- Execute timing constraints generation, static timing analysis (STA), and timing closure.
- Perform electrical analysis including signal integrity, power integrity, and IR drop closure.
- Verify physical design rules, antenna checks, LVS, and DRC to ensure tape-out readiness.
What you'll need
- Experience in digital backend physical design execution through complete tape-outs.
- Hands-on expertise with floorplanning, placement, routing (P&R), and clock tree synthesis.
- Solid background in static timing analysis (STA), SDC timing constraints, and timing closure.
- Experience running physical verification (DRC, LVS, ERC) and electrical analysis.
- Understanding of low-power design methodologies and advanced process nodes.
