About the role
This role is responsible for multiple processes and tool ownership in the ECHO Fab high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facility.
What you'll do
- Own multiple processes and toolsets in a high-volume manufacturing facility, driving sustaining, continuous improvement, and expansion initiatives.
- Identify and reduce sources of variation, implement zero defect processes, reduce defectivity, and define tool qualification and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, manage critical part inventory, direct supplier activities, respond to SPC/FDC excursions, and train maintenance technicians.
- Increase tool capabilities, throughput, and availability while qualifying new tools, hardware/software upgrades, and supporting transfer activities.
- Generate, analyze, and interpret equipment performance data to produce actionable plans resolving recurring equipment failures.
- Write clear operating specifications and present complex equipment datasets and solutions to cross-functional teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
- Manufacturing experience in process or equipment engineering across a variety of toolsets.
- Competence in equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing verification repairs.
- Experience analyzing equipment performance data and addressing SPC and FDC excursions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to write specifications and train others.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Export Control Clearance.
Nice to have
- Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with Photo, Metrology, or Plating tools.
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience.
