About the role
This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment, focusing on Photolithography coat, develop, and expose equipment.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment.
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool break downs.
- Monitor and analyze tool data to make recommendations and improvements to maintenance procedures.
- Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects.
- Communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings.
- Provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts.
What you'll need
- Associate technical degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or military electronics training equivalent.
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and project management skills.
- Knowledge of SPC in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office.
- Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for handling hazardous materials.
- Willingness to work nights or days on a compressed workweek schedule.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience.
- Prior experience on ASML PAS 5500, ASML 400XT, TEL ACT8, C&D 8800/P9000, OAI Expose, EVG Aligners, Karl Suss Coater, Teikoku Film Laminators, or Batch Develop Hoods.
