About the role
As a PCIe Validation Engineer, you will ensure the quality and functionality of PCIe interfaces on new hardware platforms.
What you'll do
- Execute test plans to validate PCIe functionality, performance, and compliance across Gen3/4/5.
- Assist in initial platform bring-up, debugging PCIe enumeration and link training issues.
- Conduct initial debug and root cause analysis of PCIe failures.
- Operate PCIe protocol analyzers, exercisers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers for debug.
- Run and assist in modifying automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with design, firmware, and software teams to reproduce, resolve, and document issues.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in post-silicon validation with direct exposure to PCIe interfaces.
- High-level working knowledge of PCIe protocols (preferably Gen 3/4/5).
- Highly talented in C programming.
- Strong HW debug and bring-up skills.
- Practical experience setting up hardware in a lab environment.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Debug Tools (e.g., Oscilloscopes & Logic Analyzers).
- Data Analytics.
