About the role
As a Process Integration and Yield Engineer, you will focus on analyzing data, identifying root causes of yield and defect issues, and implementing corrective actions to improve process quality and reliability. The role sits within Intel's Foundry Technology Development Yield organization.
What you'll do
- Conduct data analysis using statistical and data mining tools to identify defect and yield improvement opportunities. - Lead or participate in multi-functional teams across integration, module, and yield engineering to address yield challenges and implement process changes. - Develop tools, algorithms, and methodologies for high-volume data analysis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. - Drive continuous improvement programs to prevent quality, line yield, and sort yield excursions. - Execute new product introductions and design of experiments to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure manufacturability.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related STEM field with 4+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or PhD. - Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or JMP. - Working knowledge in semiconductor processing and manufacturing environments. - Experience applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles. - Experience with data structures and data analysis methods.
Nice to have
- Advanced knowledge of semiconductor fabrication techniques such as Lithography, Etch, CMP, or Thin Films. - Knowledge of programming languages. - Familiarity with machine learning tools for process analysis and yield enhancement. - Experience in failure analysis techniques and big data applications.

How we counted: 244 open Process Integration (Process Integration) roles from 38 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 27 Oct 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Process, Fab & Equipment family row.
