About the role
This role involves the design and development of mixed-signal integrated circuits. The work focuses on high-speed data converters and SerDes PHYs using FinFET processes.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with designers to implement key circuit blocks within a defined architecture.
- Comprehend system-level impacts of block-level parameters and make trade-offs.
- Design challenging transistor-level circuits.
- Prepare design documents and conduct design reviews.
- Guide layout, evaluation, and test engineering teams.
What you'll need
- M.S. or beyond in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in CMOS design.
- Strong understanding of circuits such as wide bandwidth amplifiers, comparators, switched capacitor circuits, precision voltage and current references, and LDOs.
- Experience in Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation tools.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-speed data converter or SerDes PHY design.
- Signal processing knowledge, particularly as it relates to calibration algorithms.
- Experience with MATLAB as a behavioral modeling tool.
