About the role
Texas Instruments is looking for a Metrology Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, upgrades, and installation within the fab.
What you'll do
- Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs.
- Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool-related issues.
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed.
- Prepare technical reports and summary findings while recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve equipment issues.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED.
- 5 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician.
Nice to have
- Experience in Metrology.
- Troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
