About the role
This role focuses on MEMS device engineering, device design, and performance optimization for MEMS devices such as inertial and pressure sensors.
What you'll do
- Support device/technology integration and design to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and high yield.
- Establish and maintain technology design rules and ensure alignment with design requirements.
- Drive iterative cycles between simulation, fabrication, and characterization.
- Incorporate process variation and non-idealities into device modeling and design decisions.
- Perform simulation and/or analysis using tools such as JMP, ANSYS, COMSOL, and MATLAB/Simulink.
What you'll need
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of industry experience in MEMS, with focus on MEMS device, technology integration, design and/or interactions.
- Proven track record in developing and transferring MEMS design and technologies into production.
- Solid understanding of MEMS device physics.
- Experience working across design–process interfaces and manufacturability optimization.
Nice to have
- Background in device/technology development, MEMS design, yield improvement, and/or reliability engineering.
- Proficiency in data analysis and/or multi-physics simulation tools (JMP, COMSOL, ANSYS, etc.).
- Knowledge of DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis for process optimization.
