About the role

The Manufacturing Technician III- MRRT/MRB acts as the day-to-day owner of nonconforming material flow across factory operations. In this role, you will lead daily Material Review Routing Team (MRRT) reviews, drive Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions, and execute hands-on inspection of parts and assemblies used in wafer fabrication and display equipment.

What you'll do

  • Lead daily MRRT reviews to triage and prioritize quality notifications (QNs), DMRs, and manufacturing excursions.
  • Prepare nonconforming material for MRB and drive timely disposition with engineering, supplier quality, and operations.
  • Drive containment actions, including stock purges, to prevent defect escapes into production.
  • Inspect purchased parts, materials, components, and assemblies against drawings and specifications using precision measuring tools, gauges, test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, and leak detectors.
  • Perform receiving and part audits to confirm availability and conformance while documenting defects accurately.
  • Monitor DMR aging, backlog, and cycle time, escalating overdue corrective actions to issue owners.

What you'll need

  • Technical diploma or associate degree in electronics, mechanical, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
  • 2–4 years of quality, inspection, or manufacturing experience in semiconductor, display, or a comparable industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience using precision measuring tools, gauges, and basic hand tools.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and document work accurately.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Gas Panels Business Unit Operations.
  • Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (AS EET) or a related field.
  • Experience with MRB, DMR/QN, or nonconforming material processes.
  • Experience with basic data analysis.

Skills: MRB, MRRT, nonconforming material, inspection, DMR
