About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment, including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
What you'll do
- Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions to build, repair, and test equipment, assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
- Receive parts, perform audits to verify part availability, inspect components for defects, and troubleshoot processes.
- Test assemblies, subassemblies, and components using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
- Complete job documentation and data entry covering progress, work expense, and labor details, and perform software installs or repairs when required.
What you'll need
- A high school diploma.
- 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
- Ability to follow written and verbal standard operation procedures.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Nice to have
- An Associate’s degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
- ASSEET or BSEET.
- Willingness to expand technical skills within operational processes or scientific methods.
