About the role
This role involves operating production equipment to process wafers through manufacturing stages, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring process productivity.
What you'll do
- Load wafers into production equipment and verify product specifications with equipment settings.
- Monitor equipment operation and process pace/productivity.
- Perform tool changeovers and make minor corrections to processes and equipment.
- Use analytic and deductive skills to determine wafer processing strategies.
- Perform computer/software-related tasks, including process diagnosis and interpretation using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodology.
- Prioritize daily tasks with teammates and other departments to impact team goals.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a clean room environment.
- Computer knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and manage a large volume of activity and demands.
- Ability to carry pods of wafers weighing 15 pounds throughout the full shift.
- Ability to frequently climb 4-5 step stairs while carrying a wafer pod throughout the full shift.
Nice to have
- Prior semiconductor experience.
- Stable work history.
