About the role
This internship focuses on manufacturing quality engineering within Qorvo's Global Operations business group. You will gain experience in an assembly factory that builds a large variety of products, including exposure to the complex construction of the Spatium end product.
What you'll do
- Partner with process engineers to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
- Monitor factory performance indicators, review action logs, and follow up on assigned corrective actions.
- Use metrology tools to measure key attributes across a broad range of incoming assembly materials.
- Extract and analyze key indicator data to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Support supplier quality engineering by assisting with discrepant material analysis and documentation.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Experience applying problem-solving techniques through lab work, coursework, or project-based assignments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
